Tollgate Medical Centre welcomes you to join our newly formed gardening group.

Over spring/summer 2025 we will be meeting every Tuesday morning from 10am-midday in the gardening space which surrounds the practice. Sessions include activities such as sewing and propagating seeds, growing flowers and vegetables, building planters, and learning tips for maintaining a garden. Activities are flexible and tailored to the interests of the group so, if there’s something else you would like to explore, please let us know.
We aim to provide a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for our patients to create and nurture a community garden. The gardening area is located just outside the front entrance to the practice next to Day Lewis Pharmacy.
All patients are welcome to join but this group is primarily targeted at adults over the age of 18. Children can also join the sessions but must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times. There won’t be interpreting services available for sessions so, if interpreting support is needed, please arrange to attend with another person who can support with translation.
If you would like to join our group or be kept up to date about how the group is progressing, please complete the below form and we will be in touch. If you have problems with completing this form, please contact reception and ask to be booked in to speak to our social prescriber, Mary, who will be able to assist you with completing the form.
